I am not a man of many words. In fact, I feel that the description of your work can really take away the charm of its visuality.
But I’m pretty sure you want to know at least a thing or two about me, so I’ll try my best to explain who I am and what I do.
I believe in beauty as I see it.
Something beautiful can sometimes attract me only because of its purity, its simpleness. Other times it’s just because of the complexity that I come to like something, or because of the beauty of a repeading pattern.
If that sounds a little vague to you, let me put it this way: I don’t have any standards for what is and what isn’t ‘art’, or ‘beautiful’. This is the only way I feel I can evolve as a designer, to reach out to every aspect of life. Inspiration can be the result of a temporary obsessment with fractals, though I’m most certainly not a mathematician. But I can as well be inspired by a mandala crochet pattern my wife is working on, or by buildings, movements, and like a thousand other things.
I have always loved the beauty of honesty.
It allows us to be the person that we want to be, the person that we are. Staying true to myself, watching my own work very critically and accepting the fact that there’s always room for improvement: all of these aspects allow me to stay the down-to-earth person that I am. I want to keep evolving, as a person, as a designer. Developing skill, taste and admiration for fellow tattoo artists is essential to be able to do that.
I am not the ‘big artist’, I’m just an ordinary familyguy living life the way I want to, using my skills to create a way of life that’s filled with simple and complex beauty.
And tattooing is the perfect way for me to live life exactly as I want to live it.
I hope you enjoy my work.
In fact, I hope you can enjoy it for as long as possible.

Always in search for the pure beauty in a drawing
Always in search for something
